About the Role
Titan Pest Management accepting applications for an eligible, honest and hard-working candidate to fill our Pest Control Technician position!
Pay rate will be $17-19 depending on pest management experience and/or licensing. On-the-job training provided. Our technicians work on a 4x10 schedule, Monday-Thursday for 10 hour workdays. No weekends or scheduling appointments to begin after 5pm. Overtime is available as workflow permits. 10% Sales commissions on annual value of sale.
Company uniforms will be provided, at no expense to the employee, to include: 5 Columbia-style button up Shirts, 2 short and 2 long sleeve high visibility dry-fit shirts, 5 pairs of pants, 2 hats, 1 winter coat, 1 hoodie and 1 new pair of boots on an annual basis.
NO absences are permitted in the first 90 days of employment. Upon the 91st day, you will acquire 40 hours of PTO, meritoriously adding 1 additional day each year of employment with Titan. 9 paid Holidays (New Years Eve/Day, Christmas Eve/Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, and the day after Thanksgiving) are also included.
Job expectations can include: bending, stooping, twisting, crawling, lifting/carrying up to 50 lbs, walking/climbing flights of stairs for long periods of time, working independently and in team settings. Exposure to a variety of wildlife to include, but not limited to: snakes, raccoons, opossums, skunks, squirrels, rats/mice, and of course, general insects. Our technicians are expected to occasionally work on rooftops, ladders and high structures, crawlspaces and other enclosed spaces. Some customer service experience required. On the job training and testing for job-related licensing will be provided.
To ensure the most benefit of our Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), we require that if you have facial hair, it MUST be groomed to fit within the respirator, or clean shaven. Hair color/style MUST be of a professional appearance to our clientele, specifically, no blue, green or extravagantly styled hair is permitted. Tattoos permitted assuming they are not of offensive material or gang affiliation. Piercings are also permitted assuming they are simple and do not interfere with PPE. Management may ask you to replace studs with clear studs during work hours.
Applicants MUST have a valid driver's license, Social Security Card, U.S. Citizenship, clean driving history and criminal background.
